Designing spaces that tell stories.

The words on a page are deconstructed and rebuilt into worlds to inhabit. Working across set design, styling, and decoration for editorials, film, and television, I approach each project as a self-contained world that supports the actions weaving the narrative. Nothing less, nothing more. Space should evoke and ground its inhabitants through its own existence, never through appropriation.

I live and breathe art. My collaborations bring writers' and directors' visions into physical form. My diverse background is reflected in layered textures, curated palettes, and meaningful contours and volumes. I define my collaboration as giving shape to yours.

I was born in Lisbon during my father's diplomatic mission. I spent my childhood between Europe and the United States, and my adolescence began in Venezuela, the homeland of my parents. I fell in love with the urban commotion of Caracas—its cultural richness and its polarizing beauty. The city's artistic institutions, libraries, and centers of thought shaped my years at the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas, a prestigious design school grounded in Bruno Munari's methodology. I graduated as an Industrial Designer. Toward the end of my studies, I joined the scenery department at the Teatro Teresa Carreño, where I had my first glimpse of stage design.

At the turn of the century, I moved to the United States to pursue this passion, collaborating on sets for advertising campaigns, fashion editorials, and music videos. After several years, I relocated to Madrid, where I accepted a position as a Photographic Editor at Condé Nast. I soon expanded into producing, set styling, and writing fashion, travel, and design features and editorials. After two years, I left my staff position and continued collaborating as a freelance creative.

Today, I continue to work on independent films while creating sculpture and scenography informed by design and cinema as part of my artistic practice.

I live between Los Angeles, New York, and Albuquerque.
